‘Pawanism’ mania among IT Employees, say the bosses!

Needless to say, Pawan Kalyan has his impact on all age groups – everyone loves him from the young to the old. The recent release of his super successful family entertainer, Attarintiki Daredi, sparked off a new mania among the youth, immediately after the film suffered piracy. The group which rules the majority in supporting the Star is corporate crowd from IT Companies, say the analysts. The young employees of Telugu origin working in companies like Deloitte Touche, Wipro Technologies, IBM and Accenture, came out of their inhibitions and walked around proudly in their ‘Pawanism’ T shirts at the film opening, say the bosses. There has been a remarkable absenteeism at workplace on Friday, report the sources from HR of these companies. The act looks more like a super bowl fest that is celebrated in United States by employees in support of their favourite football teams. This marks a new interest to the non Telugu speaking crowd working in Hyderabad and Bengaluru – “Who is Power Star? We would like to see him!”, is the constant buzz word operating among the Northern and non local Crowd. The film opened to a smashing response in Andhra, Nizam, Chennai and Bengaluru and clearly, there is no stopping the mania. Bring it on, folks and make your Idol proud!

Attarintiki Daredi stars Pawan Kalyan and Samantha in the leading roles. Directed by ‘Maatala Maantrikudu’ (Wizard of words) Trivikram, the music has been composed by Devi Sri Prasad.
