Following the resignation of Harikrishna Nandamuri, father of Jr NTR, which was accepted, following his support against state bifurcation, the Osmania University JAC has issued a statement today that all the films of Junior NTR will be stopped from releasing in Telangana Region. The group is extremely disturbed with the fact that Harikrishna, Rajyasabha MP, has taken sides with Seemandhra Agitation and went ahead with resigning. “We condemn Harikrishna’s resignation in support of the Samaikhyandhra agitation. We will not allow the screening of Jr NTR’s films in the Telangana region”, said the JAC members in a press release today. NTR’s upcoming film directed by Harish Shankar, Ramayya Vastavayya, is now currently in final stages and is awaited very badly by the NTR fans all over. Only time will tell us as to what fate the film will see in Telangana post release date. More trouble brewing for Telugu Film Industry post the State Divide.
