Akkineni Nagarjuna and Karthi starrer upcoming drama film ‘Oopiri’ has been censored and given a clean ‘U’ certificate without asking for any cuts.
Nagarjuna was pleased with the censor process. The film produced by PVP Cinema is having a positive vibe and audiences are eagerly waiting for it especially after Nagarjuna had delivered successful films like ‘Manam’ and ‘Soggade Chinni Nayana’.
‘Oopiri’ has Tamanna playing the secretary of Nagarjuna and love interest of Karthi. Nagarjuna is playing a quadriplegic billionaire in the film with Karthi playing a reckless guy who turns his caretaker. The film has been titled ‘Thozha’ in Tamil and will be simultaneously releasing in Telugu and Tamil on 25th of this month.
For the starters, ‘Oopiri’ is inspired from the cult French hit film ‘The Intouchables’.
