In his bid to put a full stop to all such rumors, Murugadoss tweeted that Rakul Preet Singh was the only female lead in his film, and there is no other actress. With this clarification from the star director himself, the dream of fans of Nayan to see her alongside Mahesh has shattered.
Meanwhile, the shooting of this crazy action thriller is progressing at a rapid pace in Chennai. SJ Suryah is essaying the villain role while Mahesh Babu is playing an Intelligence Bureau officer. Murugadoss is planning to wrap up the shoot by this year end and release the film for early summer. The film is simultaneously being made in Tamil and Telugu.
