How Old Are You shooting over!

With many movies being looked forward to by the fans, Rosshan Andrrew’s How Old Are You has a special place in their hearts, why – because it is the comeback movie of Mollywood favourite Manju Warrier after almost a decade and a half away from the industry. So good news – the shoot is over, guys!

While Manju’s divorce from the popular hero Dileep amidst controversy and their high profile marriage have been in media spotlight, her return to acting is the one thing the fans truly cared about. It is surprising just how loyal her fans are, considering she originally acted for only three years in the first place and that too at a very young age. Guess talent knows no age or time…

How Old Are You revolves around the story of Nirupama Rajeev (Manju), a married working woman in her thirties who has a strong mindset and firm resolve and through a series of events faces off against preconceptions in society about women, their age and relationships. Kaniha Subramaniam is also playing a pivotal role in the movie.
“It is a genuine pleasure and a great thrill for me to be working with Manju chechi,” Kaniha had said to the media.

Kunchacko Boban plays the husband, Rajeev, and this is the first time that he has starred opposite or even been in a Manju Warrier film.

The filming of the movie was completed in Jaipur though the finale scene was shot in Delhi. The movie, reportedly, is going through post production work at Vismaya Max Labs. This would be the first time Manju has dubbed for a movie in 14 long years, and understandably she is quite excited.

The flick is being produced by Listin Stephen under the banner of Magic Frames.

If all goes well, there is an unconfirmed report that the movie may get its release on May 15 but in the event of a delay, the date could be changed to May 23. In either case, looks like May is the month our dear Manju chechi returns to the big screen!
