US President Barack Obama’s visit to india concluded and the US First Couple took off to Indonesia where Obama spent four years of his childhood.
The US President arrived in Mumbai on Saturday on a 3-day visit during which he announced support for India’s prospect for a permanent seat in the UN Security Council. Soon after his visit, the President paid tributes to the victims of 26/11 and said that his planned stay at the Taj Mahal Hotel was intended to send a message. He also directed Pakistan to bring perpetrators of 26/11 to justice.
The two countries also signed deals worth $ 10 billion and Obama’s visit initiated a range of issues, activities and programs which reflect the vision of both the nations.
