Touted to be the first part of NTR biopic ‘NTR Kathanayakudu’, starring Nandamuri Balakrishna directed by Krish has finally hit the screens today on January 9th, 2019.
The film opened decently and got a flying start not only in the Telugu states but also in the Overseas as well. The film almost reached half a million dollars just with the premiers at the US box office. The opening day collections of the movie reportedly made USD 460k approximately and broke the opening day collections of Balakrishna-Krish’s previous blockbuster movie ‘Gautami Putra Satakarni’. The trade analysts are predicting that the movie got a good start and can break a few more records in its full run.
Vidya Balan played the role of Basavatarakam in the movie. The film has been receiving a mixed response from the audience. Balayya in association with Sai Korrapati and Vishnu Induri are bankrolling this project.
