Telugu film industry has decided to come together to fight against piracy and they called for Bandh on March 19th and halts all the shootings of Tollywood films.
As per the Latest news from the film nagar the Bandh has been called off due to the positive and satisfaction response from the minister of cinematography, Geetha Reddy and the Chief Minister Rosaiah.
Today, some of the stalwarts including Murali Mohan, Shyam Prasad Reddy and others met the minister of cinematography, Geetha Reddy to discuss this issue of piracy. After the meeting, Murali Mohan announced that the film industry has decided to call off the bandh as the minister had assured them of a crackdown on piracy.
Minister Geeta Reddy responded quickly on our fight against piracy and promised to take all the necessary steps immediately,” said producer Shyam Prasad Reddy after meeting Geeta Reddy, minister for cinematography.
Minister Geeta Reddy said: “We will streamline and regularize all the video parlours in Andhra Pradesh. And will take stringent actions against pirates.”
