Actress Nithya Menon who was banned by KFPA (Kerala Film Producers Association) said that the ban on her is unfair and that she is innocent. The actress was banned recently by KFPA for showing her disrespect towards Malayalam film producers by keeping their calls on hold and not responding to them properly.
To the ban imposed on her, she said to media that she is innocent and had never ignored them but that day she was actually busy shooting for her forthcoming film and was given a few minutes of break to have her lunch and hence could not meet the producers who came without prior intimation to meet her to discuss about their projects. However she asked her manager to discuss with the producers on behalf of her.
The personal grudge on her might be the reason behind her being banned by the Malayalam producers is what she feels. She even said that the producers would have informed her with a prior intimation about their visit and plan so that she could have managed taking some time for them anyhow.
