“Ashiqui 2” turned out to be a super hit love story in Bollywood. Sachin and his team felt like bringing the same flavor to the Telugu audience. Sachin Joshi, who is a big shot businessman tried his luck once again with the “Ashiqui 2” remake venture “Neejathaga Nenundali”. Nazria Hussain acted in the role of female lead in this flick. Read on to know whether this flick gives a breakthrough to Sachin and Nazria in Tollywood or not.
Story:
Story is on similar lines to “Ashiqui 2”. Sachin (RJ) is a pop singer and Nazria (Gayatri) is a part time singer in a hotel. Posani Murali Krishna is the hotel owner. Sachin observes the talent in Nazria and encourages her to become a top singer. In this course of action, they fall in love with one another. Gayatri turns into top singer while RJ gets the fact that he can’t sing to the best anymore. Few emotional scenes will appear in between these 2 characters and the love becomes too strong. “Will Gayatri becomes top singer? Will she marries RJ?” Should be seen on the big screen.
Telugu people generally like happy ending. Hence, the climax should be changed from the original flick. You have to watch the film in the theatres to know whether it is changed or the film makers decided to move with the original.
Performances:
Sachin Joshi looked stylish in the avatar of pop singer. Nazria too managed to get the shades of Shradha Kapoor, who acted in the original. In few situations, Sachin tried his best to show the best emotions. It is a challenging role to both the actors and the two worked well for the flick. Posani Murali Krishna’s role is limited but he supported the lead pair in his own way.
Nazria’s role will have mixed emotions. She managed to show them on screen apart from maintaining the glamour shades. Entire story focuses the emotions of the lead pair and hence it is a challenging task for the actors. They tried their best to show those emotions on screen.
Technical Aspects:
Even thought the story is a routine one and is a remake version, film maker showed difference in the production values. Locations were well chosen and the production team didn’t mind spending more money on the richness of the scenes.
Film director Jaya tried to show his mark by directing a remake film in his own style. Few scenes resembled the original flick but few of them were well canned. Background music too worked out well. For the Bollywood film, music turned out to be the main highlight. Even though the tunes are the same, Telugu lyrics made them more lovable to listen. Meaning of the Telugu lyrics synced up well with the scenes. Dialogues, editing and cinematography are well maintained.
On an average:
On an average, this flick resembled the original venture but has the freshness of a direct Telugu flick. Production values changed the scenario for this flick. Locations, Telugu lyrics and the Telugu emotional dialogues made this flick different from the original one. As usually, this flick is a beautiful love story which will entertain youngsters.
