The long wait of Nandamuri fans has come to an end on the eve of Ugadi festival as Balakrishna Nandamuri’s much awaited 100th film Gautamiputra Satakarni was launched this morning at the Buddha statue in Amaravati, the new capital city of Andhra Pradesh.
Balayya has first offered his floral tributes to Gautamiputra Shatakarni’s statue before commencing his film’s inaugural event. He said that Gautamiputra Satakarni is a God’s gift to him and his father late Sr NTR has sent director Krish to him with the subject of Gautamiputra Shatakarni for his 100th film.
Gauthamiputhra Shathakarni will be directed by Krish with his friend and collaborator Rajeev Reddy producing it with a staggering budget of over 40 cr. The film’s shooting will kickstart from last week of this month and makers are planning to release the film for next Sankranthi seasosn.
