Nayanatara has had a pretty tumultuous relationship with many people in the industry but because of her talent and popularity among the fans, she still remains one of the most sought after stars in the south.
Interestingly, one of the more endearing and friendly relationships she has had personally and professionally is with actor Arya. The duo had worked together in the Ajith starrer Aarambham and in the hit film Raja Rani, which more or less solidified their relationship in the industry.
So it came as a shock to the fans when recently it was reported that Nayantara rejected Arya’s offer to do an item song in his upcoming movie Meagamaan. Supposedly, Arya even offered a huge payday for the actress’s green light on this, but she still said no to the proposal.
One would think that is perhaps a career decision by the gorgeous and sultry actress not to do such glamorous songs anymore as she is taking on more character oriented parts, but interestingly she is doing an item number in the Rajinikanth starrer Lingaa!
So people remain confused as to what the actress’s motivation was to say no to Meagamaan. But it is what it is in the end and the show must go on..
Meagamaan stars Arya and Hansika in the lead roles and is nearing completion in its filming soon. The film has an added attraction that, according to reports, there are seven villains in the flick.
Yes, that means Arya will be facing off with seven baddies and sources say, in the storyline, he will be travelling to seven different locations in the country to fight each villain. So we can certainly expect a diverse visual feast in this movie.
The movie is being directed by Magizh Thirumeni, who is known for his previous film Thadaiyaara Thaaka.
