South Indian famous director Shankar is making a remake of Bollywood’s super hit film "3 Idiots" in Tamil with the titled "Nanban". The film has completed most of its shooting part and is gearing up for its release soon.
In Nanban, the role of Amir Khan is played by Vijay and that of Kareena will be played by the Ileana. The role of Madhan is played by Sreeram and that of Sharman Joshi is played by Jeeva. Sathyakumar plays the role of Boman Irani in the original.
Nanban contain 6 songs one of which includes lyrics in more than 10 different languages. The film also contains a song sequence choreographed by Bollywood’s very own Farah Khan featuring the lead pairs.
Gemini Film Circuit producing the movie and Harris Jayaraj gives the music for the film. Now the film NANBAN will be released on Pongal 2012.The film will also release in Telugu with the title "3 Rascals" for Sankranthi, 2012.
