Rubbishing off the rumors that ANR’s latest press announcement about his cancer condition was a publicity stunt for their upcoming film Manam, son Akkineni Nagarjuna warned the media perpetrators to stay away from the grid. Deeply angered by such accusations, Nag clarified that his father’s statement was out of his personal choice and this has got nothing to do with proving something to other celebs with cancer or the film promotion. The Akkinenis are going through a sensitive phase with ANR’s recent diagnosis and these talks have just disturbed Nag, who wanted to put an end to them.
Their film, Manam, a home production, is now briskly pacing with production at Annapurna Studios. While Nag’s Bhai is yet to be released, Manam will be the first Telugu film that will show all the three generations of Akkineni family on one screen.
