B Unnikrishnan’s Mohanlal starrer flick Mr Fraud is finally past all the controversy and grudge battles and is slated for release this May 17 – and it just got a family friendly and ‘clean’ U certificate from the censor board!
After the Gangster getting an ‘A’ certification for violence and profane language, this is a welcome relief that an A-list action/thriller comes ready to entertain the whole family. So folks, grab your kids and rush to the cinema halls this 17th. An excited B Unnikrishnan announced it via status update on Facebook today.
Mr Fraud bears the tagline ‘One man, many faces’ and has Mohanlal playing a cunning and deceptive fraudster on a quest to complete a mysterious mission (a heist?). He appears in at least five distinct looks throughout the movie, especially a rather dashing salt n pepper look that seems to be ‘in’ right now. In fact, Pallavi Chandran, one of the leading ladies of the film called the look ‘sensational’.
Apart from Pallavi, Mia George also plays a lead role in the flick and veteran actors like Siddique and Devan among others form the supporting cast. Dev Gill too plays a pivotal role rumored to be the villainous one.
Director B Unnikrishnan gave special props to Mohanlal for his effortless realism in action sequences and his penchant for doing his own stunts without stunt doubles as much as possible.
