While the universal star Mohanlal is currently filming his next movie ‘Mr. Fraud’ which is already getting quite the buzz, his upcoming movie ‘Peruchazhi’ is also not falling behind the ranks in terms of popularity.
The crew of the movie has announced that between 8 and 9 p.m. today, Lal’s look in the movie is going to be revealed to the fans!
Lal is playing a politician in the movie which is set against the background of American politics, in a satirical way. Apparently the script was what caught the actor’s attention early on. Mukesh will also play a politician in the movie.
The film is being directed by Arun Vaidyanathan, scripted by Ajayan Venugopal and produced by Vijay Babu and Sandra Thomas. James Vasanth, who made created the hit tunes of Tamil hit Subrahmaniapuram, will compose the music and Aravind Krishna will handle the cinematography.
The movie was shot completely in the U.S. The name ‘Peruchazhi’, which means bandicoot, has an obvious negative connotation, which kind of hints at the satire element to be expected from the movie.
