Mohanlal, as always, performed all his own stunts in the movie and a very impressed Unnikrishnan commented, “It’s amazing to see the amount of energy he brings to each scene. I have never seen a more dedicated actor.”
A photo card showing two shots from an action scene in the movie has just been released. This is to be displayed in the theatres. Lal is definitely great with action sequences and brings a thorough and refreshing realism to his onscreen fights. In fact, during the shooting of the Tamil hit Jilla, the stunt coordinator Silva was impressed with the veteran actor too.
Another interesting event to happen on the sets of Mr. Fraud was the visit of legendary director I V Sasi – a hero of director B. Unnikrishnan. Upon Unnikrishnan’s persuasion, the master himself directed a shot and called ‘cut’.
Unnikrishnan was thrilled at this honour and posted a candid shot on his Facebook page.
Mr. Fraud, which has a caption which reads ‘One man, Many faces’, has Mohanlal playing a cunning fraudster who cleverly gets his way through duplicity and skill. It is also rumoured to be a heist movie of sorts. Mia George and Pallavi Chandran play the lead female roles while other veteran actors like Siddique and Devan among others form the supporting cast.
The movie is being produced by A V Anoop under the banner of his own company AVA Productions.
