The much talked about remake of the hit Bollywood movie ‘Oh My God’, has been in the news for quite some time now. First, it was the cast of Venkatesh and Pawan Kalyan which ensured that the film remained in the news for a long time.
And now, there is one more update to this.
The national-award winning actor, Mithun Chakraborty is all set to make his Tollywood debut.
It is learnt that Mihun will be rubbing shoulders with Pawan Kalyan and Venkatesh in the Telugu remake of Bollywood film ‘Oh My God’!.
Mithun played the role of a Godman, Leeladhar Swamy in the original and the filmmakers are keen on roping him in for the same role in the official Telugu remake of the film as well. The 63-year-old is going to be doing an encore in the Telugu version, inform sources.
Power star Pawan Kalyan will be essaying the role of Lord Vishnu whereas Victory Venkatesh will be playing the role of a businessman which was played by Paresh Rawal in the film’s Hindi counterpart.
Shriya Saran will be playing the leading lady in the film.
The film is all set to go on floors in the month of July. The film will be directed by Kishore Pardasani and jointly produced by Suresh Babu and Sarath Marar.
