It is known that Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan’s election meeting took place in Nandyal on Friday evening. A mishap happened there took the life of a 35-year-old man died because of the stampede.
When Pawan Kalyan was addressing the people at Srinivasa Nagar in Nandyal, a group of people including climbed up a speaker box at the venue. But, suddenly, the speaker stand collapsed which led to a stampede in the area. Amid this chaos, Siraj, a 35-year-old auto driver from Sadiq Nagar and others were trampled upon by the running people. Badly injured Siraj along with an 11-year-old girl Pavani was shifted to the Government General Hospital in the town.
As per the reports, Siraj’s wife Karishma stated that he breathed his last while undergoing treatment but the CI is claiming that Siraj died due to sunstroke. The real reason is yet to be known.
