Andhra Pradesh Congress Minister Mopidevi Venkata Ramana was arrested today (May 24, 2012) in connection with the Vanpic land acquisition case.Ramana had appeared before the CBI yesterday for the interrogation and today also he appeared before the CBI for the interrogation, later CBI was arrested him under sections 401, 420 and 427 of the Indian Penal Code.
After his arrest in the Y S Jagan disproportionate assets case, Excise Minister Mopidevi Venkata Ramana Rao resigned from his post on Today.
Now in Mopidevi’s constituency Repalle, there have been reports of tension and some violence it seems.
