The long awaited Suriya and Amala Paul’s comedy-drama movie “Memu” is finally set to release on July 1st.
Earlier, it was officially declared that the film will be released on November 27th, but due to many reasons the movie was postponed. Since then the movie was expected to release soon but many times the movie got postponed and now finally after six months of silence, the makers have finally locked the release date.
Memu is the dubbed version of Pasanga-2, the Tamil film directed by Pandiraj. The film focuses on the issue of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) amongst children. The predominantly children’s film stars Suriya, Amala Paul, Ramdoss, Vidya Pradeep, Karthik Kumar, and Bindu Madhavi. To be jointly presented by Studio Green Gnanavel Raja and Suriya’s own 2D Entertainment, the film is produced by Madhusudhan Reddy. The producer says, “This is a film every parent should watch with his/her kid. The Tamil version was praised unanimously by both the Tamil and English-language media. We are planning to release the movie in as many theaters as possible on July 1.”
