Mega Minister in Macau

The Megastar of Tollywood and Union Minster of Tourism, Chiranjeevi is currently in Macau – He is there to interact with film fraternity at the ongoing International Indian Film Academy Awards, focusing to highlight India at a Global forum as a film destination. The Star is busy interacting with film makers of Bollywood and media, and said “We are trying our best to promote India as a film tourism destination. Our ministry has decided to provide a single window system to grant all the permissions required for foreign film makers to shoot in India. This is the least we can do to take care of them and not cause any inconvenience. When we go abroad to shoot films everything is arranged and the local authorities take care of us quite well. We will implement similar measures in future to make shooting in India a pleasant experience”. Chiranjeevi later spoke pleasantly about his son, Ram Charan Tej. “I’m extremely happy that he has occupied the position which has been vacant since I have quit acting in films. I have no plans going back to acting and Charan is stepping into my shoes. I’m also thrilled that he is making his Bollywood debut with a film like Zanjeer, which is a big responsibiltity, considering that Amitabh played the original role. I’m sure the film will take Charan to take a wider audience” he signed off.
