Bollywood’s controversial queen Kangana Ranaut has recently come up with the biopic of Jhansi Lakshmi Bhai, Manikarnika. The film sparked controversy since its release as both directors Krish and Kangana had an ugly spat over the directorial credits for the film.
In a way, this fight has helped the movie to gain publicity. The film received favorable reviews from both the critics and audience and finally, it has also entered the 100 crore club the other day. The movie which was made on a budget of Rs. 70 crores has now gained the profits over Rs. 150 crores.
Manikarnika also gained good money through satellite and digital rights. On the whole, Manikarnika, despite all the controversies, emerged as a winner in the end. The film was bankrolled by Zee Studios and the music was composed by Shankar Ehsaan Loy.
