Manglish full length trailer out!

It’s finally here! Almost in quick succession after releasing their teaser trailer, the team behind the movie Manglish starring Mammootty and Caroline Bech have released the full length trailer of the movie!

The trailer shows the really unique and vibrant tone and setting of the movie without giving away too much about the plot. All we get as fans is that Malik Bhai (Mammootty) is a man who is larger than life and very influential in Kochi, though he is by profession a fish merchant, and that Caroline’s character is in India with something on her mind and she ends up in some sort of trouble.

There are, of course, the distinct Kochi accent flavoured humorous dialogues and clever lines by the characters including some hilarious ones by Tini Tom, who plays Malik’s right hand man.

Caroline Bech, the gorgeous Dutch actress, who is an accomplished theatre and film actor in her own right, seems to be in her element here and is seen in some very colourful scenes. She is definitely not just eye candy in this one and deserves her name on the marquee.

There is a hint of action in the trailer too and Mammukka in some mass style, for those of you, who were wondering about that.

Overall, the whole ‘feel’ of the movie is something different from what we would expect simply from deducing from the two bits of information initially provided to the fans – that the name of the flick is Manglish and that it is a comedy.

It is indeed, living up to the hype surrounding it and the trailer is sure to go viral.

The flick has been directed by Salaam Bappu, who directed the movie Red Wine before and is being produced by Haneef Mohammed under the banner of Red Rose Creations.

Gopi Sunder is the man who has composed the melodies in the film, including the promo song, Njan Poneyaanu, which features the voice of Dulquer Salman.

Manglish is slated for release this Eid.
