ANR’s last flick “Manam” failed to reach till Oscar. It has not been selected by the initial screening committee in India. As per the details, “Manam” is sent for Oscar screening committee in India for the upcoming Oscar Awards. Akkineni Family was quite confident on this success but this flick failed to cross India border.
Screening committee gave push to National Award winner, Bollywood venture “Liar’s Dice” to cross India board. This ventures has been under consideration for Oscar Awards from India. Another Tollywood film “Mingurulu”, which was sent for Oscar screening committee. This film too faced defeat in the final run.
It is a bad news to Akkineni Fans but this venture is always one of the best in Tollywood film industry. Few other awards are waiting for “Manam”. Akkineni Family is applying for all major awards and in future we may see this venture getting several awards.
