Singer cum heroine Mamta Mohandas is entering into wedlock and today (November 11th) she is getting engaged with her childhood friend Pregith. The bridegroom is a well-established businessman in Bahrain and he also runs a business in Kochi. The engagement date is a auspicious and special day -11.11.11.
Speaking to Kochi Times, Mamta Mohandas’ mother revealed, “The auspicious mahurat apart, there is another reason why we chose the day for Mamta’s engagement. The groom’s family was building a house in Kochi and they had decided to celebrate the house warming ceremony of the house on this particular day. More so because his grandmother has 11 siblings – most of them well into their 80s and 90s – and they wanted to make it a jovial get-together of the 11 elders. That is how they zeroed in on this date.”
As per the sources only close friends and family members of bride and bride groom will attend the engagement ceremony. The marriage date will be announced after the engagement and the wedding will reportedly take place next year.
Mamta stated that she will act in the films after marriage also.
