Mammootty’s next mass entertainer Rajadhi Raja, directed by Ajay Vasudev, finally released its first official trailer today and it is a rocking one! The short glimpse we get in to the plot seems to hold something for everyone including some high octane action.
The film stars Mammootty as Shekharan Kutty, who is a family man who runs a hotel near the Palakkad – Coimbatore highway. Raai Lakshmi plays his wife Radha and they have a daughter named Durga. The close knit and happy family’s life is put in to shambles when some incidents happen and they come in to the crosshairs of some powerful people.
And so, with no other recourse in sight, the family man turns in to a man on a mission. What the mission is we do not know, but some impressive mass fight sequences, stylish back ground music and punch dialogues delivered in Mammootty’s signature impressive fashion means the movie looks like a very entertaining couple of hours or more to say the least.
Another interesting feature in the movie is the bad guy, who is being played by none other than the yesteryear superhero of Indian television, Hindi actor Mukesh Khanna.
The rest of the cast of the movie includes Siddique, Lena, Joy Mathew, Babu Namboothiri, Tanya Stanley and others. Young star Unni Mukundan makes a special appearance in the flick. There will also be a hot item number performed by the lovely Shamna Kasim.
The scripting of the movie has been done by scenarist duo Udayakrishna and Sibi K Thomas.
The film is aiming for an Onam release. Let us wait and see how this one turns out..
