Superstar Mahesh Babu has been part of 22 films, but none of these was shot in the US. Mahesh23 is going to be the first film to be shot in the North America, where Mahesh enjoys unprecedented fan following.
Vamsi Paidipally, who has made a mark for himself with films like ‘Brindavanam’, ‘Yevadu’ and ‘Oopiri’, has got a green signal from Mahesh by impressing him with a story. Most of this subject will happen in the US so Mahesh will be for the first time shooting in the US for this film.
PVP Cinema, which bankrolled Mahesh’s last release ‘Brahmotsavam’ and Vamsi’s last film ‘Oopiri’, will produce this untitled film. Shooting will commence after Mahesh wraps up AR Murugadoss’s film, the shooting of which is currently progressing in Hyderabad. A fight sequence and the introduction song are being canned.
