Sekhar Kammula is a talented director in the film industry. He has not worked with top heroes so far, but he planned to make a film with Super Star Mahesh Babu. But due to several reasons, the project constantly got delayed. With the films Anand, Happy Days, Godavari and Leader, he impressed the multiplex audience big time. He always planned to make a film with a top hero to reach to more audiences. Few reports in the recent past have confirmed that he is going to direct Mahesh soon, but it looks like it won’t be happening now.
The film he is currently working on is titled as Fidaa. The film was apparently prepared for Mahesh Babu who rejected it and later it was also taken to Tarak who also rejected. Finally, the director has teamed up with Dil Raju and finalized Varun Tej as the lead actor.
