Prince Mahesh Babu and Vikram, the biggest stars of South India are acting together in Mani Ratnam’s next film. According to the latest sources, the film is an adaptation of the Tamil historical novel ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ which depicts the story of Chola and Pallava empires. Mahesh babu is said to be playing the role of the Pallava King, Vallabha Rayalu and Vikram the Chola King, Raja Raja Chola. The film, produced by Sun Pictures and made in Telugu, Tamil and Malayam simultaneously, will hit the floors in 2011. Film industry’s latest buzz is that writer Jaya Mohan has been offered Rs. 2 Crores to pen the dialogues and story for this project which is supposed to be the biggest amount offered to a writer.
