We all know that Chiranjeevi’s blockbuster Khaidi film which was released in 1983 and directed by Kodandarami Reddy. The film Khaidi has changed the Chiranjeevi’s film career. Now the latest buzz is that hero Mahesh Babu is going to act in the remake of Chiru’s blockbuster Khaidi film. As per the sources director Puri Jagannadh is planning to do the remake of Khaidi film with superstar Mahesh Babu instead of Ram Charan. This news was also confirmed by the director RGV on Twitter.
RGV tweeted: "The one exciting news that I heard today is that Puri remaking Chiru’s Khaidi with Mahesh Babu. Jagan’s design of Mahesh’s characterization is much better than what Kondandarami Reddy did with Chiru in Khaidi ."
Presently Mahesh Babu and Puri Jagannadh are working together for a film "The Businessman" and the shooting is progressing in Mumbai. Earlier the duo worked for blockbuster film Pokiri. After completion of The Businessman film, Puri is planning to start the remake of Khaidi film it seems.
