Director Guna Sekhar, who is all set to bring his much delayed Historical 3D film ‘Rudramadevi’ in front of audience on September 4th, is now planning to make a sequel to this film by taking the story of Rudramadevi’s grandson, ‘Pratapa Rudrudu’. Sources suggested that he had already registered ‘Pratapa Rudrudu – The Last Emperor’ title in Film Chamber and hopes to rope in Mahesh babu to play the lead role.
During the ending of ‘Rudramadevi’ film, there will be few scenes in which Pratapa Rudrudu’s character is introduced. It has to be seen who will play this role now. Although Gunasekhar wanted Bunny for Pratapa Rudrudu role, he already casted him in ‘Gona Ganna Reddy’s role so Mahesh is the only option.
Mahesh has never showed interest to act in folk-fore movies and rejected Gona Ganna Reddy’s role as well. Will he play Pratapa Rudrudu?
