The prestigious 57th National Awards for year 2009 were announced on Wednesday, September 15, 2010 in New Delhi.
Magadheera, the all-time highest grocer in Tollywood, has bagged two National Awards in technical category.
1. Shiva Shankar Master – Best choreography (super hit song – Dheera Dheera)
2. Kamal Kannan – Best special effects (super hit song – Dheera Dheera)
Kutty Sarank (Malayalam) is selected as the Best movie.On the other hand, Aamir Khan 3 Idiots is announced as Best Popular Film. Amitabh Bachchan won the award for best Actor(Paa).
