The Economic Offences Wing of Mumbai has taken Actress Leena Paul and her partner Shekhar Chandra Shekhar today and will be kept in police custody till the 4th of June. This arrest has occurred due to the allegations against the Madras Café actress for being involved in fraud against Canara Bank in Chennai for RS 19 crores in the year 2013.
The actress might just be more famous for the allegations of crime against her than her work in Bollywood as this is not the first time she has been in news for fraud in Chennai. Reportedly, the actress who once had Maruti 800 came to possess luxurious cars such as Rolls Royce, Ashton Martin and Hummer. Claims are that these cars were stolen by her and her live-in partner Shekhar.
