Madhuri’s father no more

The ruling diva of many hearts in Bollywood and Indian Cinema, Madhuri Dixit had an unfortunate personal loss. Her father, Mr Shankar R Dixit, expired today morning. He was 91. Madhuri, who has recently shifted from United States to Mumbai with her family for good, has been actively involved with some prime time TV reality shows as a judge. “We’ll miss him but we all know he has lived a full life. We thank all those who have offered their condolences and prayers” she said, in a press statement. The funeral was held amidst the kith and kin at a Crematorium in Oshiwada today afternoon. Madhuri’s father spent his last days with his daughter, confirm the sources. Many actors have tweeted and personally conveyed their condolences to Madhuri. May his soul rest in peace.
