96 is the popular Tamil film that released last year and became a big hit. Vijay Setupathi and Trisha Krishnan played the lead roles in the movie and a lyricist Karthik who worked for the movie got a lot of acclaims for the song he penned in the movie. Now, he ran into a controversy which also involves the legendary lyricist Vairamuthu.
Apparently, Karthik has recently made allegations that the song “Sara Sara Sarakathu” from Vaagai Soda was penned by him but Vairamathu made sure that he got the credits for the song. He made the allegations that Vairamuthu took an advantage of his innocence and exploited him.
The interview went viral and Karthik received mixed responses for the same. Recently, he stepped back saying that he does not remember of what he spoke in the interview that was taken long back. He said that he neither accepts what he spoke nor denies the same. He told that he is out of city and will only be talking on the issue once he is back.
