The Shaukeens is the remake of the 1982 Basu Chatterjee’s classic by the name Shaukeen. The very quirky classic movie will see Akshay Kumar, Anupam Kher, Annu Kapoor and Piyush Mishra in the lead roles. The Malayali-Australian hottie, Lisa Hayden better known for her role as Vijaylakshmi in Vikas Bahl’s Queen, is all set to add oomph to the film.
The coming-of-age comedy film’s poster sees Lisa in a cool shades wearing bikini, teamed up with denim hot pants. And the ‘old shaukeens’ are gazing at the babe jaw-dropped. The backdrop is a scenic Mauritius and it looks apt to the setting.
Directed by Abhishek Sharma, The Shaukeens is gearing for a November 7th release.
