Rajnikanth starrer Lingaa is constantly in the spotlight and of course, no one is surprised by this – it is a Superstar flick after all! The film, directed by KS Ravikumar, was recently in the news when some protesters from the village where the filming was taking place disrupted the shoot over some alleged water contamination issues. It seems the matter has been resolved since though.
Now it’s in the news again for another reason. Some of the plot details have been revealed!
Yes, folks it’s true Lingaa Movie Story leaked- we know have sources reporting that there will be a heist scene in the movie and the man to pull it off will be none other than the Enthiran himself!
Apparently, in the story, Rajini’s character (one of them, since he is playing dual roles) requires a very valuable diamond for some reason justified in the plot and the only way to obtain the said precious stone is to carry out an elaborate and planned heist on a jewellery exhibition!
This is not going to be just a small scene among many others too, because according to reports the entire heist sequence is almost 20 minutes long!
Now that’s impressive and almost at Hollywood standards.. this is definitely not a typical smash and grab but a cerebral scheme.
We do not know yet how the heist will take place but we can expect some nail biting thrills and quite possibly some stylish action from the whole thing. It was reported earlier that Ravikumar has brought in very expensive, hi tech camera equipment and personnel to film some action scenes and something tells us this might be one of them.
Lingaa stars Sonakshi Sinha and Anushka in the lead female roles. It is being produced by Rockline Venkatesh.
Though it hasn’t been officially confirmed yet, it was also reported that the movie is planning to be released towards the year’s end on the Superstar’s birthday – December 12th.
