Mr. Perfect is one of the super hit movies in the career of Prabhas. Directed by Dasarath, the film was produced by Dil Raju under Sri Venkateswara Creations banner. After the release of the film, a novelist Shyamala Rani filed a case against the film in civil court that the film’s story was copied from her novel ‘Naa Manasu Ninnu Kore’ After almost two years, the court has given verdict now that there are a lot of similarities between the novel and the movie. The court ordered the cops to initiate the legal action in this case.
Shyamala Rani said, “I never wanted to sort this out in the court but the film’s producer Dil Raju did not respond to me, because of which I approached the court.”
Director Dasarath last spoke about the case in 2017. He mentioned, “Shyamala Rani’s novel got published in 2010. But I registered my story in 2009 with the title ‘Navvutho’. There is no truth in the news that I copied her novel because I registered my story much before.”
