Former actress Laya is one of the few Telugu heroines who made it big in the industry. But after getting married, Laya left to the United States leaving behind her acting career. After a long time, she was seen in a brief role in Ravi Teja’s film Amar Akbar Anthony.
She was seen as the heroine’s mother during her childhood days in the film. But unfortunately, the film remained as a box office disaster. In a recent interview, Laya stated that she was offered a role in NTR’s film Aravinda Sametha as well. But the actress politely rejected the offer.
She said,” I feel I am too young to play mother roles at this point of time. Thus, I am not signing any sister, mother or sister-in-law role. I miss acting though. I will definitely do a film if the script meets all my requirement.”
