If latest reports are to be believed, choreographer turned actor cum director Raghava Lawrence has been approached to replace superstar Rajinikanth in ‘Chandramukhi’ sequel.
Veteran director P Vasu had created a big sensation with Rajinikanth’s ‘Chandramukhi’ a decade ago. After a spade of flops, Vasu has recently tasted a big success with his Kannada film ‘Shiva Linga’ starring Shivraj Kumar.
Vasu is now making plans to remake ‘Shiva Linga’ in Tamil with ‘Chandramukhi 2’ title. He has already arranged a special screening for a superstar, who was not impressed with it. Hence, Vasu has reportedly approached Raghava Lawrence, who has already made a big name out of him with the blockbuster horror film series, ‘Muni’.
The inclusion of Lawrence will definitely boost the chances of ‘Chandramukhi’ sequel especially after Rajini said no. Actress Anushka has also been approached to play the female lead.
