Lal’s new look in Hi I’m Tony

Veteran actor/director Lal is truly a lucky guy, professionally and personally, as he is playing the lead in a motion picture directed by none other than his son – Lal Jr.! The movie, of course, is the highly anticipated thriller, Hi I’m Tony.

This is Lal Jr’s second directorial venture after Honey Bee, which proved to be a commercial success.

Hi I’m Tony’s posters which were released a few days ago have been getting tremendous response for its beautiful and intriguing visuals and more so for Lal Sr’s new look!

Yes, apparently junior has given his dad a total makeover for the film and the veteran actor appears in the flick with a clean shaven head and a thick beard. This rather intimidating look becomes more of a hint of danger when you take into consideration the story.

The plot revolves around incidents which happen in a single day in Bangalore, when a couple played by Asif Ali and Mia have their lives turned upside down with the abrupt entry of a stranger into their normal and idyllic world. This stranger, probably named by Tony as the title suggests, is the character essayed by Lal.

According to sources, the man is the director of an IT Firm in the storyline. The supporting cast includes Biju Menon and Lena.

The music of the film has been scored by Deepak Dev and Alby is handling the cinematography. It is being produced by Siby Thottupuram, Joby Mundamattom and Dr Panda in association with Ideas Inc.

From the looks of it, this drama/thriller is certainly one worth looking forward to, and given the talent pool involved the scope for disappointment is very little.

All the best to both the ‘Lals’, and we wait for the film to hit the big screens soon.
