Shreshta also responded to the #MeToo campaign on sexual harassment and assault. Boys/Girls who have faced sexual harassment at some or the other point in their lives are sharing their horrific stories on the social media platforms using #MeToo in the status.

However, in a recent interview, Sreshta revealed that a lady director for whose movie she wrote lyrics persuaded her to come to Goa for partying. Sreshta revealed that the lady director told her that a guy wants to propose to her.

“Later that so-called guy whom I never met has called me and told that Lady Director herself offered me to him. Also, he said that as I came to industry, I’m prepared for any such acts. I threatened with police case and then distanced from the film industry for years”, said Sreshta. Later she also added about a producer’s wife who asked her to cooperate with her husband.

Sreshta further added ‘Giving my response for #MeToo at least alerts others. Also in the film industry, not just guys, but women are also enemies to women’.
