Multi talented and veteran actor Kota Srinivasa Rao has been chosen to receive the 2013 prestigious Allu Ramalingaiah Kalapeetham Award this year in Vijayawada. The felicitation will happen on 30th of this month. The event will see all major heads of film fraternity attend the event and the actor will be honoured with a ‘Swarna Kankanam’. In the past, this award has been conferred to the likes of DR K Vishwanadh, B.Padmanabham, Sri Kaikala Satyanarayana, Tanikella Bharani, Brahmanandam, Rajendra Prasad and Johny Lever. Kota Srinivasa Rao if one of the most celebrated actors of Tollywood, who played multiple and remarkable roles in a career that spanned over 3 decades and 300 films. Kota also appeard in Bollywood films like Sarkar and created a niche for himself in the space called acting. This award looks commendable and utmost deserving to such a great actor.
