No director from the film industry generally accepts their mistakes and drawbacks even after scoring flops. However, the writer turned director Koratala Siva, who scored three blockbusters in a row, seems to be a completely different man.
With his third film ‘Janatha Garage’ raking record moolah at the box office, Koratala spoke at length with media and instead of self-appraisal for the success of the film, he surprised all by revealing his drawbacks.
Koratala said that he has limited technical knowledge of filmmaking.’ I don’t know much about camera angles, so I hire top cameramen for my films. The same theory applies to my music director and lyricist,’ added the blockbuster director. Explaining the reason for the lack of comedy in Janatha Garage, Koratala said that it was a serious and sensitive film so he didn’t want to dilute it with unnecessary and forced comedy. He also added that the film was already lengthy and addition of comedy would have made the film much tedious.
