If the latest reports in Bollywood circles are to be believed, ace filmmaker Karan Johar may not associate with Rajamouli’s highly anticipated visual extravaganza ‘Baahubali 2’.
It may be recalled that Karan Johar had released ‘Baahubali’ in North and he played a key role in getting a wider release for the movie. Post the gigantic success of the first part, and there is an unprecedented demand for the distribution rights of Baahubali 2.
The film’s rights of Telugu states, overseas, Kerala and Tamil Nadu have already been bagged for staggering prices. Several Bollywood producers are offering lucrative sum to grab the rights of North but producers are still waiting for bidding from Karan Johar, who is heard not to be interested in quoting a price on par with others. Makers are also not ready to sell the rights for a lesser price.
So, Karan Johar may opt out of ‘Baahubali 2, ’ but nothing is finalized as of yet.
