The petitioner alleged that the film is made on completely false information. ‘In the movie, it is shown that Karnataka Police has done all wrong. Even Tamil Nadu police and politicians were shown in bad light in the film’, alleged the petitioner.
In fact, ‘Killing Veerapan’ was supposed to release on 4th December. However, court asked to stop the release when a petitioner filed case. Later, Veerappan’s wife Muthu Lakshmi lodged another complaint. After over overpowering them, the film was slated to release on 1st January 2016 but this fresh petition made the film release doubtful.
