No one expected a Kannada film would do mammoth business at the box office throughout the country. But all thus misconceptions were shattered by a film called KGF, which was released last year. This action thriller starring Yash has collected more than Rs. 250 crores at the box office and became one of the biggest hits of 2018.
The main brain behind this film was director Prashanth Neel. It was his birthday yesterday. Popular Telugu production house Mythri Movie Makers, wished the director, on the eve of his birthday. This has raised the doubts on the new film in that combo. Apparently, Mythri made a contract with Prasanth, right after the success of KGF.
But currently, Prasanth is busy filming KGF 2 and he will get done with it, only during the early next year. So, this new project might be launched only during the later stages of next year. We don’t know which star hero will work with Prasanth for this huge project. Stay tuned for more updates on it.
