KCR extends Telangana deadline

Following the reluctance of the party cadre in taking up an aggressive agitation and befalling to the mood of the public over the violent movement for the T-State, the TRS chief Mr. K. Chandra Sekhar Rao has further extended the Telangana deadline from December 2010 to February 2011.

He informed the media persons that the decision was made keeping in mind children’s studies, as the violent movement would hinder their studies. He set out a revised proposal to wait for the separate state until February next year and added that the non-cooperation would commence as planned after December.

However, the successful completion of the AP state formation day celebrations and the participation of the party leaders despite repeated threats from the TRS have forced the party for a new strategy to boost sentiment in the region.
