Bollywood King Khan Shah Rukh Khan’s crime thriller Don, Don 2 are both successful prequel and sequel films. Don (2006) and Don 2 (2011) have collected massive numbers at the box-office and stood as super hits in Shah Rukh’s career.
With this series gaining huge demand and popularity in Hindi cinema, gossips about Don 3 have already started gossiping in the B’town. There is no doubt that Shah Rukh Khan will be appearing in the lead role and Farhan Akhtar will be directing this too. The question over here is who will pair Shah Rukh if Don 3.
In Don and Don, 2 Priyanka Chopra took the place of heroine and was successful in the role. Priyanka, who played the character of Roma in Don 1 and 2, will be a good option if repeated once again in Don 3. Since Priyanka’s character was permitted to a cop character in part 2, Lara Dutta was roped in as Shah Rukh’s girlfriend. Though, Lara wasn’t considered as heroine since Priyanka was present.
Now, gossip girl spoke that Katrina Kaif is being considered as the lead heroine opposite SRK for Don 3. Katrina, who is busy shooting for Jagga Jasoos and Fitoor is talked of being approached by the makers of Don Series and didn’t give any final call over the offer.
These rumours were condemned by Farhan Akthar saying that the official confirmation will come from him. Farhan Akthar was the director Don and Don 2 which were produced by Ritesh Sidhwani.
With, Farhan and the producer saying that they didn’t approach Katrina, many turned on their interest over who will be the heroine of Don 3?
Few say that Priyanka Chopra will remain the same while few say that this time it could be Deepika Padukone.
With such hypothesis clouded over the female lead in Don 3, it will start its shooting in the last month of 2016, said sources.
